Now, villagers do not have to walk 3-5 kilometers for information – it comes to them. Some of the areas COW rendered service over the past two years are the following:
- A datalink is provided between villagers and experts in health and agriculture. Questions or problems are inputted by the information provider and uploaded to a server via a CDMA wireless link. From there, the relevant experts in health and agriculture accessed the data via the vidal.org.in Internet site and replied to questions like pest infestation in agriculture and health problems for humans.
- Students received exam results in their villages, a service that is consistently running as a "People's Choice" bestseller.
- In related activities, women and children received primary and adult education services.
- Education and awareness programs are provided in steaming video and multimedia formats in agriculture, health and education and HIV AIDS.
- HIV- AIDS awareness programs are conducted in remote tribal tandas.
- Women's groups in the villages maintain and upkeep their saving accounts in the laptop of the information provider and take a copy of the consolidated report every month.
- Local administration uses the information provider’s photographic services for making civilian identity cards, accessing field level information on agriculture, daily labor.
- People use the services for accessing government entitlements.
- Villagers use the photographic services further for family functions.
