Dr.Charles F.Gay met Pingali Rajeswari in 2000 and together they found Greenstar solar villages in Parvathapur, Mahboobnagar District, Andhra Pradesh India. Dr. Gay supported the cause of COW and provided technical know-how for designing the solar solution for providing power back up for the electronic equipment mounted in a boxon the bike.
