Rural Employment Exchange is another Reuters Digital Vision Project that will be piloted in COW villages on completion. REE is a software solution that is aiming to improve the unemployment and underemployment situation in this community by taking a holistic view of agriculture in the communities. REE creates information system that makes job availability widely known and transparent for social empowerment by creating a system that makes the gender difference less of a factor in wage distribution.

The Rural Employment Exchange is s system that brings together landowners, farmers, other employers such as construction companies and workers come together to optimize the use of the labor force while creating and maintaining fair wage practices. Through the introduction of this system that is based on making information regarding jobs and wages freely available to all parties concerned, there would be more transparency in hiring practices and pay according to the quality of the job done.
