Philips Design from Netherlands conducted a research project in some of COW villages with an objective to understand the rural markets in India.

The aims of the NEM field study are,

    • To gain insights into needs of people in least-developed markets (bottom of the economic pyramid)
    • In order to explore opportunities for Philips to provide sustainable solutions for this market (sustainable in economic, social and environmental sense).
