The following list of people, helped COW gain feet by supporting various activities. They have given their knowledge, time and commitment to COW at various times of project requirements.
Interns
David Huang
David Huang got to know about COW project during his Computer Science Masters program in Stanford University. He met Pingali Rajeswari during her fellowship program and found COW project interesting to achieve his goals of creating an online solution for remote health support for poor and remote villages in India. He had previous experience in working for development projects in India. COW- Medic project formed his theses work and he worked in collaboration with several professors in Stanford Computer Science and Bio Informatics Departments. He worked in Stanford University as well as in India at the villages to create a beta version of the solution. Currently, he is busy pursuing a course in public health in USA.
Galen Drace
Galen Drace is from Claremont Mckenna College, Claremont in Northern California, USA. He approached COW through Digital Partners for an internship and worked on an enterprise model for COW. His internship involved creating a template for building an enterprise model. His activities for the internship encompassed literature study, designing a primary study, analysis of data using SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) software and creating a management grid for developing enterprise model. His work involved mathematical, statistical, managerial and sociological skills to complete the assignment.
Edward Crompton
Edward Crompton is from Nottingham University, UK and his academic training is in Information Technology and Physics. He found COW project via the Internet and wanted to work on the project because the project worked on a people-centered village level approach. His work involved creating a database system for multiple purposes:
To help the head office track the information provider’s field level service delivery for performance evaluation
To help head office collect field level data for various purposes
